RAWR
I'd like to be called PAU or a rather cute nickname like PAUPAU. Been living in my world since 090290, that make's me 18. A Septemberian and a retro-baby. A nurse-to be from Far Eastern University. 3 major ♥s would be: PHOTOGRAPHY, MUSIC and LIFE. I'd like to think of myself as a world dominator wannabe, but doesn't everybody else think like that? MOAR rawr.

    TWILIGHT!
    November 27, 2008
I didn't really catch the TWILIGHT fever when it suddenly boomed in the teen culture scene. All I knew about it back then was it was a lovestory about a vampire and a girl, I didn't know that it was a "sweet valley high-esque" love story  . YES I was curious, so I tried so hard to find the book and 6 months later, here I am empty handed. I stopped looking for the book now, hoping that later, people will forget about it and I will have the chance to actually see it displayed in the bookshelves of some bookstore.

At first I didn't care much about the "fad", but of course people would always get sucked in and give in to things. In this instance, I gave in to reading the damned story. I have read the book already. Well, not exactly the book but an eBook. Curiousity got the best of me so I gave in to reading the eBook instead. In fact I have the whole series in eBook copy. The story was ok. It did disappoint me because there was too much sappy stuff, but yeah, I forgot it belonged to the TEEN ROMANCE section in bookstores. :suspicious: I expected a story more on the Harry Potter level, more on the action and the wonders of being a vampire and the love story would just be secondary.

Exactly, THIS is the point why I am writing an entry about TWILIGHT: I FINALLY WATCHED THE MOVIE with Divine, Leslie and Nicole plus Albert aka Tru, the same "lakwatsa" crowd minus Myka again. I went to the mall with 200 pesos in hand. Good thing I always bring the group fund with me. I know it's not for personal use, but what can I do? I was short on cash and my atm is pretty useless. I think it's ok to use it, just make sure I pay it back.

HOW WAS THE MOVIE? I agree with whoever that says it's disappointing. There was too much CYAN for me. Though the way they introduced the characters were quite well especially Edward and the Cullens and how they sparkle under the sunlight. ♥ ♥ ♥ The blowing wind through Bella's hair scenes were cliche. Instead of being a very powerful and intimate scene, the meadow scene was too cheesy for my taste. I didn't like how the movie was too fast-paced, it could've been better if they inlcuded Alice's description on how to become a vampire. If I was a person who saw the movie first, I would be quite confused on the way how the background story built up. Though my favorite part of the movie was the Bella's Lullaby scene. I can't explain how it made me feel, but it was a very very good scene.

Ok, so much for being a "fake movie critic". I liked the movie, but it could've been much better. I hope they make New Moon a better one. I'll sure be waiting for that one.

    GOSH, I couldn't believe I made a TWILIGHT post.
