RAWR
I'd like to be called PAU or a rather cute nickname like PAUPAU. Been living in my world since 090290, that make's me 18. A Septemberian and a retro-baby. A nurse-to be from Far Eastern University. 3 major ♥s would be: PHOTOGRAPHY, MUSIC and LIFE. I'd like to think of myself as a world dominator wannabe, but doesn't everybody else think like that? MOAR rawr.

    A few thousand takes
    January 25, 2009

I failed on posting a photodump last night. I admit, I forgot that I had classes on a non-school day, thanks to the wonderful powers of uni admins. Though, I could've done the posting last night but I was too tired to do so. Uni, again, drained my magical ability of being active in the online world :blank:

I see that a quite a number of people commented on the PNDY sig. All the credit goes to the wonderful DannyB. (though I think it's a total rip-off of his design, SORRY).

    ----------

I'm a person who gets easily discouraged. I don't know how or why, it's not so dominant on our gene pool.

This Friday I got my package from Digiprint, the 5 rolls of film that I subjected to my own personal humiliation. Flabbergasted was I, but after a few minutes of looking at the sets, sadness suddenly knocked on my door. I was happy that the 4 rolls of 110 film was exposed properly (yes, I finally learned about exposure) but the subjects were so empty. It's like I wasted 4 rolls of film on taking pictures of clouds and other random objects which aren't very interesting. I made up an alibi so the hopeful hobbyist in me won't die, "You're just a starter. You are learning about what you love. Concepts may come in later." But I think that is a wrong reason. Along with learning about something, you should also have the passion to put it into heart. In this case, along with learning photography, you should also start learning the different aspects, angles and you should start thinking about concepts that is of your interest.

You're wondering now about the 5th roll of film.. The 35mm film didn't make it, out of 36 shots only 21 shots came out. Overexposure or underexposure, you get the idea.

So, will I give up film photography? A Big NO. It's something that is need to be learned. A person once said, "After a few thousand takes, that's when you suddenly realize that you're learning, and you're improving." I might give it a rest and resort to digital once again, I need some trial and error in my life.

Analog Photography will always have my heart. Someday, I'll master it too.
