RAWR
I'd like to be called PAU or a rather cute nickname like PAUPAU. Been living in my world since 090290, that make's me 18. A Septemberian and a retro-baby. A nurse-to be from Far Eastern University. 3 major ♥s would be: PHOTOGRAPHY, MUSIC and LIFE. I'd like to think of myself as a world dominator wannabe, but doesn't everybody else think like that? MOAR rawr.

    Quiapo Awakening
    February 23, 2009
Well I thought I was going to edit videos all day. Thank God I "made aya" my lola to the ever confusing Quiapo. I usually liked going alone to place unfamiliar to me, but Quiapo is one place I never dreamt of getting lost in. My lola is the best when it comes to pasikot-sikots around Manila. Despite her 3 year stay in Bahamas & Florida, and her long stay in Legazpi, she still remembers her way around here. Let's give my lola a big YAY shall we? YAY!

So, this is the best day of 2009 so far. A day full of analog love and old-school Manila. I went to Hidalgo (yay!) to get my newly acquired, 2nd hand SLR fixed. Kuya Mike of Vedicnation sold the Ricoh KR-10 X for 1k 'cause it has a defect, the film advance lever is stuck. But when I brought it to Mang Dong's, the manong who isn't Mang Dong told me there was no defect. So he pseudo-fixed it for free. But I swear it has a defect, I checked it myself. Ohwell. I also spent a hefty amount on Solid Gold and Lucky films for trial rolls. I have the Rolleimat and this Ricoh yet to be tested!

I'm planning to do my Project 365 on a single roll of film. Armed with VEE and roll of Lucky, I might pursue this idea for the month of March. Or maybe not. Maybe on April when it's summer and I'll be able to go on trips. Whatever ohwell papel.

Go Analog all you digital rebels! Embrace film! :yay:
